Just 3 years ago, I was stuck spinning my wheels, pregnant with baby #2 and wanting more outside of my job. I had a husband and daughter who loved me and wanted to see me succeed. I had some good balance but started and stopped my personal goals all the time.
At that time, it seemed like I was doing everything at once, killing it at my 9 to 5 , going here and there with the family, trying to be healthy, have a social life, and go to church. I knew going through the motions wasn't helping me because I had some real dreams I wanted for my life.
My ideas for a business and places I wanted to travel kept coming up for me. I no longer could keep this dream on some long list of wishes. I felt like this powerhouse mom who simply couldn't live with just being a wife, and just being a mom, and just being a friend. I was torn between being stuck with living the day to day and that big dream of being an entrepreneur that serves other women encouraging them to make it happen.
